word. my application is the BEST.
The Basics

Name: Zahra

Age range (13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25+): 20-24

Favorite character: My favorite character has to be a tie between Luna Lovegood and Hermione Granger. I love how Lovegood gives off such a random vibe. She seems very quirky and I think that's very much like my personality. I also like Granger because she's so studious and that's very admirable. I love how, like me, she reads for fun and doesn't care what people say about her reading fetish.

Least favorite character: Draco Malfoy. Who actually does like him?! He's such a snob and that's something I definitely hate. How can someone so young be so naive and cocky?! Who can stand someone that has to buy their way into his/her peers hearts? A person like that is someone I rather not be affiliated with; and he's seriously one of them.

Favorite Non-Harry Potter related fandom: I'm in loooove with Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series. It's a real great beach read! Those books go by real quickly.

What is your pet peeve?: I really hate it when I'm in a cafe/bookstore and the music is waaaaay too loud! I'm usually there because I want a place to read or study, but if it's too loud, it's too distracting! Nothing interrupts a good read other than loud, disgusting music.

The Deeper Stuff

Five years from now you are diagnosed with a terminal illness. It can be cured by a single pill that costs $5,000 dollars and is not covered by insurance. How would you go about getting the medication? I'd probably just use whatever is in my savings account. With the way the economy is going, $5000 in the future wouldn't be worth so much as it is now; So I don't see why I wouldn't have that much saved in the future anyway. But if for some reason I didn't have the money on hand, I'd probably sell some of my stuff in a massive garage sale and start a donation fund or start a _____-a-thon (jog, walk, read, etc.).

Your house is burning down - all people and pets are out safely. You are able to save one item. What is it and why? I'd probably save my "Box of Memories." It's my box filled with all my pictures and old journals. I would never want my memories to be burned away.

You find a wallet in a parking lot. It has $1,000 dollars cash in it and a driver's license. You look at the license and realize it belongs to a co-worker you speak to on a daily basis. What do you do? I'd definitely think about keeping the cash and tossing the wallet; but I'd most likely just give it back in hopes that he/she would give me a cash reward.

You've been given $100,000 dollars. If you can use it all within one hour you will be given one million dollars. What do you do? I would probably use it all and some extra money that I have saved and use it as a down payment for a real nice house. And I'd use the rest of that million to redesign and upkeep everything else. I'm not so materialistic when it comes to all that girly stuff like purses and clothes, so you can never go wrong with a nice, cozy house.

You see a famous person in the lobby of a busy movie theater and no one else has noticed him/her. What do you do? I would be hesitant towards walking up to him/her and risk looking like a fool if it really wasn't a famous person; but I'd do it anyway. I'd casually walk up and say, "Has anyone ever told you that you look just like _____?" "You caught me! I was in disguise!" "Well, I'll keep it on the down low if I could have your autograph?!"

You come upon a wishing well and toss a coin in to make a wish. Your wish is granted. What did you wish for? My wish would be to travel around the world, free of charge.

You're 70 years old and writing your autobiography. What is the title and why would people read it? It would be called "One Traveling Coconut." My memoir would be about a coconut (slang term for a white-washed Filipino [white in the inside, brown on the outside]) that travels all around the world all by her lonesome trying to pick on life's little locks.

You have been gifted with the chance to actually perform a magical spell. In front of you stands your greatest love, your worst enemy, and a pile of inanimate objects ready to be used in your spell. Which spell do you allow yourself to use and why have you chosen that spell? I wouldn't bother using any spells. I figure that if I really want true love, I shouldn't use magic to gain it. Same with killing someone that I hate, I rather have them suffer and die naturally than to use magic to just quickly get rid of them; it'll show that I'm such a bad sport.

You find a magic lamp, rub it, and out pops a Genie. You are given the chance to relive and change one experience in your past. What do you change (if any) and why? I would not change anything because all of my past experiences is what makes me who I am now.
